Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of engineering subject matter experts across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural, civil, structural, controls, and other critical infrastructure disciplines
• Establish the technical vision and engineering strategy for CoreWeave's global data center portfolio
• Lead the development, maintenance, and governance of CoreWeave's Basis of Design
• Develop and maintain a long-term design roadmap for future data centers
• Ensure mechanical, electrical, architectural, civil, structural, controls, life-safety, and other engineering disciplines are coordinated into cohesive infrastructure solutions
• Partner with Data Center Design Management to define technical requirements, establish design review milestones, resolve engineering issues
• Set expectations for technical design reviews and lead evaluations of critical drawings, specifications, calculations, equipment selections
• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex engineering challenges and decisions

Requirements

• Accomplished and experienced engineering leader
• Deep expertise across data center critical infrastructure disciplines
• Experience governing Basis of Design and engineering standards
• Ability to partner cross-functionally with Design Management, Data Center Technology, Capacity, Construction, Commissioning, Operations, Network Engineering, and Supply Chain
• Willingness to travel 20% to various data center sites
