Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable backend solutions for complex scenarios.
- Collaborate with Product, Design/UX, DevOps, and other R&D teams.
- Maintain and improve engineering practices, suggest and implement technology, patterns, or process enhancements.
- Proactively identify areas of improvement in team systems, processes, and scalability.
- Lead by example in code quality, contribute to code reviews.
- Monitor production systems, investigate and resolve critical production challenges.
Requirements
- 4+ years in backend software engineering roles.
- Proficiency in C#, Java, or similar object-oriented languages.
- Hands-on knowledge of relational databases like SQL Server.
- Experience with message queues or streaming platforms (e.g., RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka).
- Strong experience writing unit tests and ensuring high test coverage.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience in designing new functionality for existing complex components.
- BA/BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
