App Infrastructure is the shared mobile platform team owning design system, networking, observability, experimentation, CI/CD, releases and developer tooling.
Responsibilities
Set technical strategy for the team on a year-long horizon and tie it to business-impacting projects.
Collaborate with product, design and analytics to manage technical sustainability, risks and trade-offs.
Define and advocate technical solutions and operational processes as a force-multiplier.
Own operations and availability: monitoring, triage rotations, playbooks, testing and alerting.
Set code review and design standards and develop talent on the team.
Requirements
7+ years developing and architecting mobile applications; 4+ with React Native.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with React Native and Expo, authoring/migrating native modules.
Experience with complex state management in React; Redux Toolkit is a bonus.
Experience performing React Native SDK major updates and debugging across the JS↔native boundary.
Experience with mobile testing and observability: Maestro/Appium, Sentry/Crashlytics, Statsig/LaunchDarkly.
Proficiency with AI-assisted development tooling such as Claude Code.
Track record of driving teams to execute large projects.
Conditions
Remote US.
Base pay range: $204,000 – $290,000 per year depending on location.
