About the company
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Influencer Marketing Manager based in Switzerland.
Responsibilities
- Build a new, performance-driven influencer acquisition channel from the ground up.
- Own the full lifecycle, from creator sourcing and outreach to negotiation, activation, measurement, and scaling.
- Working across multiple SaaS products, markets, languages, and creator platforms, develop a qualified and reusable creator network.
- Focus on measurable business outcomes, with trial CPA as the primary performance metric rather than reach or awareness.
- Collaborate closely with paid media and creative teams to amplify high-performing creator content through paid advertising.
- Identify relevant creators by product, market, language, and platform across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and relevant niche channels.
- Build and continuously maintain a qualified creator pipeline, assessing audience quality, engagement, partnership history, market relevance, and authenticity.
- Identify and filter out fraudulent or low-quality profiles, including purchased engagement, artificial growth, and audiences outside target markets.
- Maintain a consistent prospecting pipeline and monitor outreach activity and conversion rates.
- Conduct competitive creator research to understand which creators competitors work with, which formats they use, and how frequently they activate them.
- Develop personalized outreach approaches and negotiate rates, deliverables, timelines, formats, exclusivity, and commercial terms.
- Define appropriate compensation models, including fixed fees, performance-based models, affiliate arrangements, and product exchanges.
- Negotiate advertising usage rights, including duration, geographic scope, whitelisting, Spark Ads, and Partnership Ads.
- Establish reusable contractual frameworks aligned with applicable advertising transparency requirements across markets.
- Create creator briefs covering messaging, angles, requirements, restrictions, and areas where creators retain editorial freedom.
- Manage content production, timelines, approvals, and compliance before publication.
- Coordinate creator activations with media cycles, product launches, and key commercial moments.
- Develop long-term relationships with high-performing creators while managing unsuccessful collaborations professionally.
- Implement reliable tracking through dedicated links, promotional codes, UTM parameters, and product analytics tools.
- Monitor trial CPA by creator and campaign and use data to determine which partnerships should be scaled, renewed, or discontinued.
- Develop credible measurement proxies where attribution is imperfect, including post-purchase surveys, lift analysis, and temporal correlation.
- Deliver autonomous performance reporting and use data to support channel investment decisions.
- Share high-performing creator content with paid media specialists for amplification and collaborate with creative teams to exchange insights on successful content angles.
- Leverage AI and automation to make sourcing, qualification, outreach personalization, and reporting more efficient at international scale.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in influencer marketing, ideally within a direct-response or performance-focused environment where conversion is prioritized over brand awareness.
- Demonstrated experience building a creator network from scratch rather than managing an established portfolio or relying primarily on an intermediary platform.
- Experience working across multiple international markets, with an understanding that creator ecosystems and communication approaches vary by country.
- Experience in subscription SaaS, subscription apps, or another performance-driven digital business is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills, particularly around creator fees, deliverables, and advertising usage rights.
- Ability to assess creator authenticity and identify potentially fraudulent engagement or audiences, with the ability to clearly explain your analysis.
- Strong understanding of performance measurement, including tracking setup, UTM parameters, promotional codes, and product analytics.
- Comfortable making decisions based on CPA and conversion performance rather than reach, impressions, or estimated media value.
- Advanced use of AI tools to streamline sourcing, creator qualification, personalized outreach, and reporting.
- Strong organizational and pipeline-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple markets, products, creators, and deadlines simultaneously.
- High ownership and autonomy, with a builder mindset and the ability to create processes rather than simply optimize existing ones.
- Resilience and persistence when dealing with naturally low outreach response rates.
- Proactive, transparent, and comfortable in a demanding, results-oriented environment.
- French proficiency at a native or fluent level.
- English proficiency of at least B2, with the ability to prospect and negotiate effectively in English-speaking markets.
- Experience with whitelisting, Spark Ads, Partnership Ads, creator affiliate programs, or performance-based influencer campaigns is a strong advantage.
- Existing creator relationships within relevant verticals, experience in US or Southeast Asian markets, and knowledge of advertising disclosure requirements across jurisdictions are additional assets.
Conditions
- Permanent, full-time employment.
- 100% remote position within Europe.
- Flexible working hours and freedom to organize your work.
