Responsibilities
- Have a direct impact on customers and their overall trust of the platform
- Drive the technical roadmap in collaboration with the team, product management, and other engineering teams
- Mentor a team of 3+ software and security engineers
- Develop user-friendly UI components that enable users to strengthen account security
- Create metrics and measurements to understand how users interact with security-related features and controls
- Work across the stack, implementing both front-end and back-end code
- Develop risk scoring algorithms to classify potentially risky behavior or activity
- Contribute to security operations efforts including threat detection and response
- Participate in incident response efforts
Requirements
- 5+ years of software security engineering experience, especially on teams building platform and user security features
- Excellent communicator and collaborator
- Prior experience working with product and design teams to deliver front-end features
- Fluent in one or more modern coding languages (Python, Go, TypeScript, etc.)
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, high growth environment
- Knowledgeable of abuse techniques in modern SaaS applications
