Responsibilities
- Lead large, ambiguous initiatives that span multiple product areas, from problem framing through launch and iteration
- Be a taste maker and demonstrate good judgement in your domain
- Regularly meet and engage with our most strategic customers to bring the customer voice alongside product data into product decisions
- Leverage AI tools through every step of the process, defining new ways of working and democratizing design at Samsara
- Stay well informed on the emerging trends, tools, and technology
- Ship code to production across our design system, web products, and mobile apps
Requirements
- 10+ years of product design experience designing UX/UI for web and mobile applications
- A strong portfolio and/or case studies showing design craft and quantified impact at the level of multiple product areas or platform-wide systems
- Deep interaction and visual design skills
- AI tools in your regular design practice (e.g., Cursor, Figma Make)
- Experience mentoring designers formally and informally
- Experience partnering with senior leadership
Conditions
- Remote role open to candidates residing in Canada
- Annual base salary: $161,600 – $222,200 CAD
- Eligible for an initial RSU grant with no vesting cliff
