Responsibilities

• Drive discovery, architecture, design, development, and production deployment of data and AI solutions on Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks
• Partner with client stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable, governed architectures
• Lead technical presales: solution design, scoping, proposals, statements of work, and client presentations
• Establish architecture patterns, engineering practices, CI/CD standards, and governance frameworks
• Design modern data architectures using lakehouse, medallion models, Data Vault, and dimensional modeling
• Guide and mentor data engineers and consultants
• Manage project milestones, budgets, risks, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Apply production governance, performance optimization, automation, and cost management

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience designing and delivering Microsoft data and analytics solutions
• Strong proficiency in PySpark, SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT processes
• Hands-on experience with lakehouse architectures, medallion models, and Data Vault or dimensional modeling
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, and Azure Data Lake Storage
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation using Azure DevOps and GitHub
• Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring ability
• Experience supporting technical sales and presales
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Preferred: Microsoft Cloud certifications in Fabric, Azure Data Engineering, or Azure Architecture
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Must be based in the United States and available across US time zones

Conditions

• Annual on-target earnings $180,000–$230,000 (80/20 base-to-bonus ratio)
