- Infrastructure team designs and operates infrastructure on GCP
Responsibilities
- Apply and maintain SRE practices including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, incident management, and postmortem processes
- Design, implement, and optimize infrastructure for availability, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Contribute to observability stack: monitoring, alerting, logging, and distributed tracing
- Automate infrastructure and operational workflows (Terraform, Terragrunt, Kubernetes)
- Support FinOps initiatives to optimize cloud costs
- Partner with development squads to improve service reliability and performance
- Contribute to architectural decisions for resilient distributed systems
- Analyze performance bottlenecks and work on scaling strategies and system debugging
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes
- Experience with high traffic, distributed systems architectures
- Strong knowledge of one Cloud provider (AWS or GCP preferred)
- Solid experience applying SRE practices (SLOs, incident management, observability)
- Strong operational mindset with experience managing production incidents
- Comfortable collaborating with and supporting other engineers
- Ownership-driven, pragmatic and impact-oriented
