Responsibilities
Work closely with product management, product engineering, and product design to define the first version and future evolution of the service.
Design, build and deliver well-tested core pieces of the platform.
Contribute to architecture, code reviews, development practices, and developer experience.
Mentor fellow engineers and take ownership of projects.
Requirements
Strong background building core components for high-scale compute and data distributed systems.
8+ years building distributed systems and/or foundational cloud services at scale.
Interest in working with Python, Go and Java.
Proven success designing, writing, testing, debugging, and performance tuning highly concurrent systems in large, long-lived codebases.
Experience leading 15-20 people projects involving distributed systems infrastructure.
Good verbal and written technical communication skills.
Bonus: containerization and orchestration platforms (e.g. Kubernetes), AI frameworks and tools.

Hybrid or in-office working models for candidates based in the New York City area.
Base salary range in the U.S.: $121,000 – $327,000 USD.
