Responsibilities
Set the vision and drive strategic impact: build and execute the strategy for how developers discover and grow their integrations on the Claude Platform.
Build and execute the strategy for content the team produces to educate developers.
Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to ensure developer feedback informs the roadmap.
Prioritize initiatives based on data, feedback, and the needs of both developers and the business.
Build and lead a world-class team: pioneer the definition of what world-class developer relations looks like.
Recruit, inspire and scale a high-impact developer relations team with global reach.
Foster a collaborative culture that embodies Anthropic's values.
Create and implement scalable processes.
Establish clear growth paths and development opportunities for team members.
Drive alignment and innovation through cross-functional leadership.
Act as an advocate for Claude Platform developer needs.
Collaborate with Research to translate AI capabilities into accessible educational resources.
Partner with Communications and Marketing teams to amplify developer success stories.
Ensure best practices for responsible AI use are adopted by developers.
Requirements
Experience building and leading developer relations, developer experience, or technical product teams, with a proven track record of measurably growing developer ecosystems.
Technically credible: understand AI/ML and API concepts and translate complex technical ideas for various audiences.
Hands-on technical abilities: capable of creating your own code demos, critically reviewing developer content, and providing specific technical feedback.
Insight into developer psychology and behavior.
Passionate about AI's potential and deeply committed to ensuring it's developed responsibly.
Collaborative leader who can influence across teams without direct authority.
Experience scaling teams in high-growth environments.
Preferred: experience working specifically with AI developer platforms; public speaking experience at industry conferences and events; content creation experience (technical writing, video tutorials, etc.).
