Responsibilities
Lead cross-squad technical initiatives to design and build modular, globally scalable backend solutions for complex supply chain operations.
Act as the technical bridge between engineering squads and operational stakeholders (Procurement, Production, Data).
Define and drive engineering best practices around system design, code quality, and maintainability.
Optimize complex data workflows and event-driven architectures.
Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
Shape the technical roadmap by identifying architectural bottlenecks and proposing improvements.
Take the technical lead on backend-heavy product problems, designing, building and operating services at scale.
Operate what you build: instrument, monitor, and improve systems in production.
Requirements
Hands-on experience with AI tooling (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) beyond casual experimentation.
Extensive backend engineering expertise, ideally in Golang and JVM-based ecosystems (Kotlin or Java).
Strong grasp of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Proven track record designing and operating highly scalable, event-driven systems using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
Solid understanding of modern cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes) and observability practices.
Strong fluency in Golang or Java and hands-on experience building distributed systems in production.
Collaborative, low-ego approach with strong technical judgment and passion for mentoring.
Product sense and ability to back opinions with data and user evidence.
