Responsibilities

• Plan, architect, and develop Shopify applications, plugins, and API integrations
• Build full-stack solutions using React, Next.js, Node.js, Express, and TypeScript
• Integrate third-party systems (ERP, payment, CRM, logistics) through REST and GraphQL APIs
• Ensure application performance, code quality, security, maintainability, and scalability
• Develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interface components
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and implement unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevOps workflows
• Produce clear technical documentation
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams from concept to launch
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices
• Contribute to architectural decisions and the technical roadmap

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional full-stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and Express
• Database experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or comparable technologies
• Practical experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and modern DevOps workflows
• Understanding of API design, UX/UI principles, application security, and performance optimization
• Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, and CORS
• Experience with Shopify app development (Polaris, webhooks, OAuth, GraphQL APIs) is an advantage
• Native-level German proficiency and good written and spoken English

Conditions

• Competitive annual salary: €50,000–€80,000
• Performance-based compensation: fixed salary plus performance-dependent commission
