Responsibilities

• Lead design direction across the team's security products and hold the bar for design excellence end to end
• Run critiques, give direct feedback, push the team toward bolder solutions
• Coach and grow designers across Paris, Madrid and New York offices
• Help define a security design system built on top of Datadog's existing components
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to shape roadmaps and cross-platform thinking
• Take accountability for product and business outcomes
• Bring AI fluency to how the team works

Requirements

• 10+ years in design, including leading and growing high-performing teams
• Design leader with sharp eye for detail and strong taste
• Track record of leveling up a team's output
• Experience leading complex products or features (zero-to-one launch or reimagining)
• Strong communicator collaborating with executive and cross-functional stakeholders
• AI fluency in own work or leading teams through it
• Comfortable with technical complexity of modern software development and cloud infrastructure
• Ideally: security domain experience or portfolio of information-dense, data-rich interfaces
