Our Brand & Experience team builds the emotional connection between Deliveroo and our customers, riders, and partners. We're looking for a Senior Marketing Manager, Search and App - Europe to join our London team. This is a hybrid role (3 days a week from our London HQ).
Responsibilities
- Drive Channel Strategy & Growth: Own the strategy, execution, and performance of paid search and app marketing across France, Italy, and Belgium
- Lead and Develop People: Coach, lead, and develop a team of paid search and app specialists
- Champion AI & Automation: Scale AI tools and automated solutions across bidding, creative production, measurement, and anomaly detection
- Optimise Budget Allocation: Manage multi-market budgets dynamically, reallocating spend swiftly in response to performance data
- Build Advanced Models: Partner closely with Data Science, Engineering, and Analytics to build, refine, and test measurement, attribution, and bidding models
- Navigate Matrix Stakeholders: Collaborate with Brand, Growth, Product, Finance, and regional General Managers
Requirements
- Significant Performance Marketing Leadership: proven track record leading large-scale paid search and app marketing functions, managing sizeable budgets, and delivering measurable ROI
- Team Leadership Expertise: demonstrated experience building, managing, and developing high-performing performance marketing specialists
- AI & Automation Integration: practical experience using, or a strong commitment to rapidly adopting, AI tools and automation
- Matrix Stakeholder Management: strong ability to influence, align, and collaborate across functional teams
- Commercial & Analytical Rigour: high fluency with performance data, experimentation, attribution models
Nice to have
- Multi-Market Scope: experience managing performance marketing across European markets (France, Italy, or Belgium)
- Platform & Regulatory Expertise: strong working knowledge of upcoming platform, privacy, and policy updates across Google, Apple, and Android ecosystems
