Responsibilities

• Design and execute high-quality creative assets across brand, marketing, digital products, web, social, presentations and other brand touchpoints.
• Collaborate on the visual design and user experience of the Blockchain.com app and website.
• Use photography, image selection, art direction, cropping, composition and retouching to create compelling visual experiences.
• Create refined and intentional designs with understanding of negative space, visual hierarchy, restraint and limited colour palette.
• Bring exceptional understanding of typography, from type selection and hierarchy to spacing, proportion and execution details.
• Produce digital graphics, campaign assets and visual compositions, with ability to incorporate subtle animation or motion.
• Maintain an exceptional standard of craft and ensure everything feels considered and beautifully finished.
• Work closely with designers, marketers, product teams and other stakeholders to turn briefs into visually compelling creative work.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual taste and execution.
• Significant experience in brand design, visual design or art direction at a senior level.
• Sophisticated, contemporary design sensibility, ideally with experience for premium, luxury, editorial, lifestyle or technology brands.
• Excellent eye for photography, composition, lighting, imagery and visual storytelling.
• Deep expertise in typography, layout, hierarchy, colour and visual balance.
• Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Experience creating digital assets and designing for websites, apps and responsive environments.
• Motion design or animation skills are a welcome bonus.
• Extremely high attention to detail and ability to work efficiently across multiple projects.
• Proactive, self-directed approach and collaborative, low-ego mindset.

Conditions

• Temporary maternity cover contract.
• Full-time salary based on experience and meaningful equity.
• Role based in Paris office, with mandatory in-office presence four days per week.
