Motion Designer

Scopely is looking for a Sr Motion Designer to join the Marketing Creative Services team, Flamed, in the Barcelona office on a hybrid basis (3 days at the office). Flamed is the in-house creative agency, an international multidisciplinary team. You will primarily work on MONOPOLY GO! and may also support other IPs in the portfolio.

• Animation & Motion Graphics: Design and execute high-quality 2D and 3D animations, motion graphics, and visual effects for UA Ads, Social Media, In-Game Cinematics and promotional materials
• Visual Storytelling: Translate static artwork, storyboards, and wireframes into engaging, lively animations matching the vibrant, playful style of Monopoly GO!
• Iterative Design: Participate in review sessions, absorb feedback from Art Directors and peers, and iterate rapidly to polish animations
• Asset Optimization: Maintain organized project files and follow best practices for asset delivery, ensuring motion files are optimized for mobile gaming
• Quality Focus: Work with attention to detail in a constructive cross-feedback environment

• 5+ years of experience in motion design, animation, advertising, entertainment marketing or related fields
• An excellent video reel (mandatory) demonstrating expert-level motion design and animation
• Proficient in After Effects, Cinema 4D, Octane Render Engine, Adobe Premiere and Photoshop
• Excellent art direction, storytelling, and visual taste
• Experience with video editing, color grading, and sound design
• Collaborative mindset and passion for creative excellence
• Passion for mobile games, especially Monopoly GO!
• Excellent communication skills in English

• Hybrid basis in Barcelona office (3 days at the office)
• Bonus: hands-on experience using Unreal Engine for cinematic-quality renders; knowledge of Unity and/or illustration; understanding of social media, performance marketing, and user acquisition creatives; interest in AI-assisted design tools
