Motion Designer

Scopely is looking for a Sr Motion Designer to join our Marketing Creative Services team, Flamed, in our Barcelona office on a hybrid basis (3 days at the office).

We are the in-house creative agency, Flamed, an International multidisciplinary team. We build thousands of creatives every year to support all Scopely games Marketing needs worldwide. You will primarily work on MONOPOLY GO!, one of the top mobile games on the market, and may also support other IPs in our extensive portfolio as needed.

• Animation & Motion Graphics: Design and execute high-quality 2D and 3D animations, motion graphics, and visual effects for UA Ads, Social Media, In-Game Cinematics and promotional materials.
• Visual Storytelling: Translate static artwork, storyboards, and wireframes into engaging, lively animations that enhance the player experience and match the vibrant, playful style of Monopoly GO!.
• Iterative Design: Actively participate in review sessions, absorb feedback from Art Directors and peers, and iterate rapidly to polish animations to the highest quality.
• Asset Optimization: Maintain organized project files and follow best practices for asset delivery, ensuring all motion files are optimized for a smooth mobile gaming experience.
• Quality Focus: Work with an attention-to-detail attitude in a constructive cross-feedback environment.

• 5+ years of experience in motion design, animation, advertising, entertainment marketing or related fields.
• An excellent video reel (Mandatory) that demonstrates expert-level motion design and animation.
• Proficient in the standard tools of the trade: After Effects, Cinema 4D, Octane Render Engine, Adobe Premiere and Photoshop.
• Excellent art direction, storytelling, and visual taste.
• Experience with video editing, color grading, and sound design.
• A collaborative mindset and passion for creative excellence.
• Passionate of mobile games, especially Monopoly GO!
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Bonus Point:

• Hands-on experience using Unreal Engine to produce cinematic-quality renders.
• Additional knowledge of Unity and/or illustration.
• Understanding of social media, performance marketing, and user acquisition creatives.
• Proactive interest in AI-assisted design tools and their creative applications.
