About the company:
We are looking for a level designer for a co-op stealth horror project on Unreal Engine 5.
Responsibilities:
- Design a greybox arena for 4-player co-op stealth horror
- Plan modular map structure: biomes/zones, connectors, transitions, slices, alternative routes
- Develop routes between zones: safe, fast, risky, noisy, stealthy
- Design locked shortcuts for items: bolt cutters, lockpicks, keys, etc.
- Place objective points, loot, cover, vantage points, and enemy patrol routes
- Work in prototype-first approach: gameplay and pacing first
Requirements:
- Experience with modular maps
- Understanding of co-op / PvE / stealth / extraction / survival gameplay
- Interest or experience in ARC Raiders, The Outlast Trials, Hunt: Showdown
Conditions:
- Freelance payment
- First stage: small paid greybox/core slice
- Evaluation, prepayment, and payment per stage
- Possible long-term work
