This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a PHP Developer based in India.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance server-side applications and business logic using PHP.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles and software engineering best practices to create clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Design, develop, and optimize databases, queries, APIs, and other back-end components to support application performance and reliability.
- Work with front-end technologies and collaborate with other developers to ensure smooth integration between client-side and server-side functionality.
- Build and maintain applications using PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or comparable technologies.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues while identifying opportunities to improve existing systems.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical discussions while maintaining adherence to development standards and best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Requirements
- Strong professional expertise in PHP development, back-end web development, programming, and software engineering.
- Solid understanding and hands-on application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design principles.
- Experience working with PHP frameworks, particularly Laravel, Symfony, or similar frameworks.
- Good knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with an understanding of back-end/front-end integration.
- Experience working with databases, SQL queries, APIs, debugging, and application optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code and contribute constructively to code reviews.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
