About the company
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Recruiter - Talent Pipeline and Candidate Community based in India.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a proactive talent community by sourcing, interviewing, and vetting candidates before positions formally open.
- Segment talent pools by role, seniority, availability, readiness, and other relevant criteria, keeping candidate information accurate and current.
- Establish consistent re-engagement practices to keep qualified candidates interested, informed, and honest about their availability.
- Monitor the freshness of each talent pool and proactively identify candidates who are becoming inactive or unavailable.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment across multiple roles simultaneously, from job posting and sourcing through screening, interviews, selection, and hiring.
- Develop targeted job postings that attract qualified candidates while filtering out profiles that do not meet the required standards.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand the actual hiring bar, challenge assumptions when necessary, and present evidence-based shortlists.
- Respond to candidate inquiries and applications promptly, maintaining a high-quality experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide specific and constructive communication to candidates who reach interview stages and maintain positive relationships with strong candidates who are not selected.
- Use recruitment data and weekly performance metrics to identify issues, improve results, and take accountability for hiring outcomes.
- Lead at least one recruitment process improvement initiative that creates measurable value for the wider recruiting function.
- Use AI and automation tools to reduce repetitive manual work and improve sourcing, screening, evaluation, and candidate engagement.
- Experiment with new sourcing channels, screening approaches, technologies, and workflows, measuring results and scaling what works.
- Coordinate with internal teams and contribute to broader recruitment and operational objectives.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience personally building and maintaining a talent pool, recruitment bench, or candidate community, including proactively engaging candidates before roles become available and hiring from that pool.
- Experience recruiting for at least one of the following areas: customer service or support, executive assistance, virtual reception or front desk, accounting or bookkeeping, or sales operations.
- Previous experience recruiting for the U.S. market and working directly with U.S.-based companies or hiring managers.
- Proven ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously and successfully close searches within demanding timelines.
- Advanced written and spoken English communication skills.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday with substantial overlap with U.S. Central Time.
- Strong sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessment, stakeholder management, and relationship-building capabilities.
- A highly organized and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and prioritize without daily supervision.
- Strong data orientation and comfort working with visible performance metrics and weekly scorecards.
- Ability to distinguish between candidates who meet qualifications and those who are genuinely ready and suitable for a specific opportunity.
- Comfortable using applicant tracking systems, AI tools, automation platforms, messaging channels, and other recruiting technologies.
- Experience recruiting remotely across multiple regions, particularly LATAM, the Philippines, or Africa, is a plus.
- Staffing agency, BPO, RPO, or offshore staffing experience is preferred.
- Experience with Workable or another ATS used for structured recruiting workflows is advantageous.
- Experience in an environment where recruiting performance and output are measured regularly is a strong plus.
- A continuous-improvement mindset, strong ownership mentality, resilience, and willingness to test new approaches are essential.
