This is an opportunity to support a sophisticated enterprise technology environment within a global professional services organization.
Responsibilities
- Own and administer core enterprise applications, including billing and timekeeping, CRM, document management, and records management platforms, ensuring reliability, security, appropriate configuration, and alignment with business requirements.
- Partner with Accounting, Finance, Client Practice Development, Records, and other business functions to understand technology needs, provide advanced support, and maximize the value of enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot complex application issues, investigate root causes, coordinate resolution efforts, and provide clear guidance to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage application lifecycle activities, including upgrades, enhancements, testing, deployments, maintenance, configuration changes, and rollout of new functionality across production and test environments.
- Maintain integrations between enterprise applications and related technology platforms while collaborating with Application Engineers and other IT teams.
- Administer document and records management environments, including access controls, ethical walls, information security requirements, migrations, and data import/export activities.
- Support application security and governance processes, helping protect sensitive organizational and client information while maintaining effective business operations.
- Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders, technology teams, and software vendors to resolve issues, coordinate upgrades, and stay informed about product developments and best practices.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, software enhancements, and industry trends to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, service delivery, and user experience.
- Contribute application expertise to technology implementations, strategic projects, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining critical business services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered.
- Experience supporting and administering enterprise applications in a corporate, legal, professional services, or similarly complex environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Windows Server, and enterprise application environments, including both front-end user support and the underlying technologies supporting business-critical applications.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, PowerShell, Microsoft 365, endpoint security solutions, Microsoft Intune, software deployment tools, configuration management platforms, and application databases.
- Strong understanding of application administration, software deployment, configuration management, endpoint security, troubleshooting, and Windows-based enterprise technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to diagnose complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across technical teams, business functions, and leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business requirements, work independently, and deliver results in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Strong customer service mindset and the ability to balance business objectives, technology requirements, security considerations, and user experience.
- Professional judgment, discretion, sound decision-making, and a demonstrated commitment to high-quality service.
- Two or more years of experience supporting enterprise applications within a law firm or legal technology environment is preferred; professional services experience is also highly valued.
- Familiarity with the operational, security, and business requirements of legal technology environments is a plus.
- Microsoft certifications such as MCSE or comparable credentials are preferred, along with iManage Cloud Engineer or related certifications.
- Additional certifications in enterprise applications, systems administration, databases, or cloud technologies are valued.
