This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Epic Application Analyst (Healthy Planet) - Epic Applications Analyst based in Brazil.
Responsibilities
- Independently support Healthy Planet and Compass Rose initiatives, ensuring application functionality aligns with operational and clinical requirements.
- Create, maintain, design, and optimize patient registries and related application workflows.
- Design and improve Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) workflows to support evolving healthcare needs.
- Support the expansion and ongoing development of Remote Patient Monitoring programs.
- Perform daily application maintenance, including service requests, minor enhancements, and workflow optimizations.
- Analyze and diagnose complex system and application issues, identify root causes, and develop appropriate solutions or escalate when necessary.
- Design, configure, test, implement, maintain, and optimize Epic applications and workflows.
- Translate business and technical requirements into functional application solutions.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 application support, troubleshooting incidents and documenting resolutions thoroughly.
- Collaborate with operational stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to resolve issues and improve application performance.
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and monthly Epic updates, including associated testing and validation.
- Maintain accurate technical and application documentation.
- Act as a subject matter expert on application functionality, workflows, and system capabilities.
- Lead or contribute to complex application projects and IT initiatives as assigned.
- Support reporting, data validation, analytics, and integration-related needs when required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current Epic Healthy Planet Certification.
- Current Epic Compass Rose Certification.
- Previous hands-on experience supporting Epic Healthy Planet workflows and applications.
- Strong understanding of healthcare application workflows, configuration, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical functional and technical solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with operational teams, vendors, and IT stakeholders.
- Experience providing application support, resolving incidents, and documenting technical solutions.
- Experience with workflow design and optimization is preferred.
- Experience leading complex IT or application initiatives is an advantage.
- Prior mentoring or leadership experience within an Epic applications environment is beneficial.
- Familiarity with healthcare application integration, reporting, data validation, and analytics is preferred.
