About the company
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Funnels/Workflow based in Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for the Funnels and Workflows product areas.
- Define a cohesive product direction that prioritizes customer value, business impact, experimentation, and sustainable growth.
- Lead the development of Workflows as an orchestration engine for paywalls, win-back offers, lifecycle campaigns, and other experiences triggered by subscriber behavior.
- Drive the evolution of Funnels as a web-to-app product designed to convert web traffic into paying mobile subscribers.
- Engage directly with prospective and existing customers to understand use cases, uncover adoption barriers, identify feature gaps, and help customers improve monetization outcomes.
- Proactively investigate customer and product problems rather than relying entirely on engineering or support teams to identify and diagnose issues.
- Partner with growth teams and customers to understand their objectives, challenges, experimentation needs, and monetization strategies.
- Identify, prioritize, and develop product features that allow customers to create compelling experiences, measure outcomes, and iterate quickly.
- Establish robust product metrics and use quantitative analysis to evaluate adoption, conversion, retention, revenue impact, and overall product performance.
- Work closely with engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams to translate product opportunities into scalable solutions and bring them successfully to market.
- Understand the technical infrastructure behind the products and make informed decisions about APIs, data models, system complexity, risk logic, and dependencies.
- Break ambitious product initiatives into meaningful, achievable increments with clear priorities and realistic timelines.
- Collaborate directly with senior leadership to communicate product opportunities, strategy, progress, trade-offs, and expected impact.
- Continuously experiment, learn from results, and refine product strategy based on customer feedback and data.
- Act as a strong advocate for customers while maintaining a clear focus on helping them increase revenue, conversion, and subscriber growth.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management, technical product engineering, analytics, or a closely related discipline, with meaningful experience contributing to the growth of mobile applications.
- Strong analytical capabilities and significant experience working directly with data to inform product strategy and decision-making.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL or comparable analytical tools, with the ability and willingness to independently investigate data and uncover actionable insights.
- Experience developing, defining, and maintaining robust and scalable product metrics.
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to work effectively with highly technical engineering teams.
- Ability to prototype and explore ideas using code and modern AI-assisted development tools, even if software engineering is not the core responsibility of the role.
- Comfortable discussing APIs, data models, infrastructure, system architecture, experimentation, and complex product logic with engineers.
- Ability to quickly understand complex technical systems, identify dependencies and trade-offs, and distinguish simple solutions from technically challenging ones.
- Experience with mobile app growth, monetization, subscriptions, lifecycle marketing, conversion optimization, or related growth products is highly valuable.
- Strong customer orientation, with the ability to conduct customer conversations, uncover underlying needs, and translate feedback into meaningful product opportunities.
- Excellent product judgment and the ability to prioritize opportunities based on customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, and available resources.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats.
- Comfortable working asynchronously across multiple time zones, communication channels, and distributed teams.
- High level of ownership, curiosity, initiative, and accountability, with a bias toward shipping and learning through experimentation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, design, data, go-to-market teams, customers, and executive stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where product strategy evolves through customer insight, experimentation, and data.
Conditions
- Competitive salary of approximately $230,000 USD, plus equity opportunities.
- Competitive equity package in a fast-growing, venture-backed company.
