Teserac builds Neuron™, an AI-native platform for data center observability, intelligence, and workflow automation. Neuron™ ingests real-time telemetry from thousands of meters, sensors, and building systems across heterogeneous sites, giving operators visibility to monitor, analyze, and act on power operations. An embedded AI teammate detects anomalies, correlates events, and surfaces recommendations around the clock.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain front-end interfaces: real-time dashboards, alerting systems, capacity planning views, and operational workflow UIs
- Build UI components and workflows for the AI teammate: interaction panels, recommendation displays, approval workflows, and audit trails
- Optimize application performance for real-time data rendering and large dataset visualization
- Build and maintain the ingestion path: edge collectors, MQTT over AWS IoT Core, queue-based workers, normalization into a canonical metric model
- Write integration modules against building and power systems: Siemens Desigo, Schneider PME and EcoStruxure, Niagara, Eaton, generic BACnet, Modbus, SNMP
- Own correctness of data: point mapping, unit and phase semantics, deduplication, backfill
- Develop against PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB: hypertables, continuous aggregates, compression, retention
- Design schema and migrations that stay safe as tables grow into billions of rows
- Build operator-facing features in React and TypeScript
- Write tested, reviewed code; contribute to CI/CD and automated testing
- Troubleshoot production issues across the stack and share in on-call
Requirements
- 7+ years building and shipping production software across the stack
- Strong Python, ideally Django (backend is Django and Celery)
- Strong PostgreSQL: schema design, query performance, migrations
- Practical time-series experience, TimescaleDB specifically ideal
- Solid React and TypeScript
- Experience with asynchronous and event-driven systems: task queues, pub/sub, streaming, WebSockets
- Comfortable on AWS: ECS Fargate, RDS, ElastiCache, IoT Core
- Able to work independently and define your own scope
