Financial Analyst

About the company

• Remote, full-time role supporting financial and operational management of global WAN and telecommunications carrier services.
• Collaboration with Finance, Network Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and external service providers.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting for global WAN and carrier services.
• Oversee purchase orders, invoice tracking, budget reconciliation, supplier spending, and financial commitments.
• Develop and maintain financial reports, cost-allocation models, operational dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Analyze financial performance and supplier commitments to identify savings opportunities.
• Coordinate with Finance, Supply Chain, Network Engineering, and Operations on supplier budgets, contracts, renewals, and performance.
• Track WAN circuit inventory, service delivery, financial commitments, and supplier performance.
• Coordinate with telecommunications carriers to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
• Support global WAN transformation initiatives through financial analysis, project tracking, and executive reporting.
• Monitor program milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions.
• Improve workflows related to circuit demand planning, inventory management, financial reporting, and service cost tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology Management, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial management, supplier management, contract administration, or technology program management.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, reconciliation, spend analysis, and financial reporting.
• Strong ability to interpret financial data and assess variances and risks.
• Experience developing financial reports, dashboards, cost models, and executive presentations.
• Experience tracking supplier performance, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and procurement activities.
• Advanced Excel skills for analyzing large datasets.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with WAN services, networking, telecommunications carriers is preferred.
• Familiarity with supplier contract renewals, sourcing, procurement, carrier billing is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Python, Power BI, FlowCraft, Alteryx is a plus.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Conditions

• Annual salary: $99,100–$166,200.
