Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, scale, monitor, and maintain secure, cost-efficient infrastructure in a multi-cloud environment (AWS and Azure)
• Develop, evolve, and operate infrastructure as code for repeatable, auditable, scalable provisioning
• Drive design collaboration through technical discussions and constructive reviews
• Contribute as a core member of an agile team with strong ownership
• Partner with product and application engineering teams to deliver developer-friendly infrastructure abstractions
• Participate in on-call rotation, identify systemic gaps and drive reliability improvements
• Reduce technical debt and operational toil through automation
• Use AI as a primary way to explore, design, and ship solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 1-2 years engineering cloud infrastructure for microservice-based systems in production
• 1+ years of experience with Python
• 6 months - 1 year of experience with at least 2 of: Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes
• Experience with source control, testing, and deployment practices
• Experience with on-call rotations, incident response, operating production-grade systems
• Experience using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex)
• Strong communication skills, remote-first mindset

Nice to have

• Experience with Bash, Golang, Terragrunt
• Building large-scale infrastructure-as-code abstractions
• AWS certifications

Conditions

• Remote - USA
• Base salary range $122,400 - $176,000 USD
• Bonus or incentive compensation, equity, comprehensive benefits package
