Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end software features across frontend and backend systems
• Lead technical initiatives by defining solution approaches and breaking down complex requirements
• Build, maintain, and optimize modern web applications using React
• Develop and evolve scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript with NestJS and Express
• Contribute to the evolution of application architecture, including monolithic systems and microservices
• Design and maintain REST APIs, messaging systems, and integrations between distributed services
• Implement robust integration patterns, including retries, timeouts, idempotency, circuit breakers, and fallback mechanisms
• Design and optimize data models and database queries using MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL
• Maintain high engineering standards through automated testing and code reviews
• Monitor production environments and investigate incidents
• Integrate AI-powered tools into the daily development workflow
• Mentor less experienced engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or technical education in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Extensive professional experience in software development with strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with NestJS and/or Express
• Strong experience with React
• Solid understanding of software architecture, REST APIs, messaging systems, and distributed systems
• Practical experience with MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL
• Experience implementing automated tests
• Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and production support
• Experience designing resilient services and integrations
• Familiarity with AI-powered software development tools
• Advanced English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with monolithic architectures and microservices
• Experience with data-intensive platforms, financial technology, credit systems, or agribusiness technology
• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring software engineers
