Responsibilities
- Partner with Data Science, Product, and Engineering to define data ontology
- Lead and mentor a growing team of Data Engineers
- Design, build, and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines
- Develop scalable frameworks and tooling to automate analytics workflows
- Establish standard methodologies for data operations and lifecycle management
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building scalable ETL pipelines with tools like Airflow, Dagster, Luigi, or Google Cloud Composer
- Deep expertise in SQL, PySpark, or Scala
- 3+ years leading data engineering development with business or data science partners
- Experience with multi-terabyte datasets and debugging large-scale analytics challenges
- Experience with at least one major cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with GitOps workflows
