Responsibilities
- Guiding the design, development, maintenance, and presentation of the procure-to-pay process business as enabled in our solution: requisition, purchase order, receipt, and invoice
- Understanding customer needs and driving the evolution of the product by translating business requirements into software product functionality
- Creating, refining, prioritizing and maintaining the product requirements backlog and product roadmaps
- Developing detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications, queries, and architecture for each part of the procure to pay process
- Managing prioritization and trade-offs among Corcentric customers and development resources
- Engaging with customers and internal stakeholders in developing useful analytics and information for use in the platform
- Working with the development team on User Interface (UI) design/validation, sprint reviews and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Supporting the creation of materials to educate and train cross functional teams and customers
- Assisting sales and services teams as the product subject matter expert
- Maintaining an awareness of current research and best practices in the field of procure to pay product management
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, or comparable career experience
- Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner for a technology company
- A very strong ability to analyze and synthesize complex topics, but simplify and organize it for others
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Undergraduate degree in technical or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- An MBA is a plus
- Technical understanding of coding and IT standards
- Jira/Confluence experience
- Experience with JavaScript or PHP
- Experience collaborating with international team members
- Experience with source to pay, payment, or invoicing processes, contract lifecycle management, catalog management, B2B commerce or sourcing software/services, or an ERP platform
Conditions
- The P2P Product Management team is distributed globally, and primarily operates remotely
- We are considering candidates interested in working remotely out of the US Eastern Time Zone in the following states: NJ, VA, PA, MD, NC, FL, OH, GA
- For candidates who prefer an in-office work environment, we operate offices in Cherry Hill, NJ and Bethesda, MD
- Base salary for this role will be between $100,000 - $140,000, annually, plus eligibility for our annual discretionary bonus program
