Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the shipper experience, aligned with Madar's strategic and commercial objectives.
- Lead hands-on discovery efforts including shipper interviews, market and competitor analysis, problem validation, and hypothesis testing.
- Translate ambiguous problem spaces — such as shipment booking friction, pricing transparency, or tracking visibility — into clear problem statements, success metrics, and product direction.
- Develop business cases for new initiatives, defining expected impact and assessing risks and trade-offs to support prioritization and decision-making.
- Continuously analyze shipper behavior, funnel performance, and operational data to identify opportunities for improving activation, engagement, and retention.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Commercial, Business Development, Operations, Finance, and Technology.
- Partner with commercial and business development teams to incorporate insights from enterprise and mid-market shippers into the product roadmap.
- Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs clearly and proactively to stakeholders.
- Provide thoughtful challenges and recommendations when initiatives are misaligned with strategy or expected impact.
- Support the smooth onboarding of new shipper accounts by aligning product capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- 3–4 years of experience in Product Management, ideally within logistics, supply chain technology, digital marketplaces, SaaS, or e-commerce platforms.
- Proven experience owning products or initiatives end-to-end, including both discovery and hands-on execution with engineering teams.
- Experience working in high-ambiguity environments such as new ventures, 0-to-1 products, or complex growth initiatives.
- Strong track record of using data, user research, and experimentation to inform product decisions.
- Experience working with enterprise or mid-market B2B customers is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-framing and decision-making skills, particularly when information is incomplete.
- Ability to move seamlessly between strategic thinking and detailed execution.
- Excellent communication and influence skills in both technical and commercial contexts; fluency in English is required, Arabic is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of Agile product development practices and modern product discovery techniques.
- Comfort working with analytics tools, defining KPIs, and building metrics-driven roadmaps.
- Pragmatic, outcome-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
