Senior Solutions Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer, AI Data & Model Evaluation Solutions based in Canada.

• Partner with sales teams and leadership on strategic opportunities involving AI labs, model developers, and enterprise AI organizations.
• Lead discovery sessions with technical, research, product, operational, and executive stakeholders to understand business and AI development challenges.
• Translate complex customer requirements into solution designs, workflows, pilot plans, proposals, and implementation strategies.
• Design solutions related to AI data services, model evaluation, multilingual datasets, speech and audio workflows, transcription, expert review, and post-training processes.
• Support RFPs, RFIs, pricing assumptions, statements of work, and other commercial documentation.
• Develop customer-facing materials including technical explanations, solution narratives, workflow diagrams, and pilot structures.
• Collaborate with delivery, quality, technology, and operations teams to ensure solutions are scalable, feasible, and aligned with business goals.
• Support successful transitions from sales processes to delivery execution by documenting requirements, assumptions, risks, and success criteria.
• Build reusable frameworks, templates, and best practices for AI data and evaluation programs.
• Stay updated on developments in AI evaluation, benchmarking, reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), post-training workflows, and emerging AI technologies.

• 6+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Technical Pre-Sales, AI Data Services, ML/Data Operations, Enterprise Technology, or related fields.
• Experience supporting complex B2B sales cycles involving technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
• Ability to transform unclear customer challenges into structured requirements, solution designs, proposals, and delivery plans.
• Experience with discovery processes, RFP/RFI responses, pilot programs, proposals, and customer presentations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to balance customer expectations, quality, feasibility, timelines, costs, and business impact.
• Comfortable working in dynamic environments where processes and solutions continue to evolve.
• Experience with AI, machine learning, data services, model evaluation, annotation, transcription, localization, LLM evaluation, RLHF, or post-training workflows is preferred.
• Experience working with AI labs, enterprise AI teams, research organizations, or AI-focused technology companies is a plus.
• Familiarity with human-in-the-loop workflows, multilingual data, speech/audio solutions, quality frameworks, or benchmark development is desirable.
• Experience designing proof-of-concept programs or working with global delivery models is an advantage.
