Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary security and compliance expert during customer engagements, addressing questions about Claude's architecture, data flows, encryption, access controls, and deployment models
- Partner with CISOs, security architects, and compliance teams at healthcare and life sciences organizations to design solutions meeting regulatory standards (HIPAA, GxP, HITECH, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, GDPR)
- Lead technical deep-dives on network architecture, data residency, API security, authentication/authorization, audit logging, and integration patterns
- Support enterprise security reviews, vendor assessments, and due diligence processes
- Collaborate with GTM and Applied AI teams before and after customer engagements
- Partner with product and engineering teams to understand Claude's security capabilities and influence roadmap
- Develop security-focused collateral, reference architectures, and best practices documentation
- Lead enablement and create content for GTM and Applied AI teams
- Travel regularly to customer sites for security workshops and architecture reviews
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise security, cloud architecture, or technical pre-sales with exposure to regulated industries
- Deep technical knowledge of network security, IAM, encryption, API security, and audit/logging
- Experience with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GxP, HITECH, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, GDPR)
- Track record engaging with CISOs, security teams, and compliance officers
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP), including VPCs, private endpoints, and hybrid connectivity
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Conditions
- Annual salary: $315,000 — $380,000 USD
- Hybrid policy: at least 25% of time in office
