About the company

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Fraud Analyst based in United States.

Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve fraud cases across corporate card fraud, application fraud, identity fraud, and travel marketplace disputes, managing each investigation through the full lifecycle with rigor and appropriate documentation.
  • Triage Early Fraud Warning (EFW) alerts promptly and take appropriate action to prevent potential disputes and fraudulent activity from escalating.
  • Manage card disputes and chargebacks from documentation and representment through final resolution, ensuring cases are handled accurately and efficiently.
  • Document every investigation to a standard that supports Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) filing, ensuring case records are complete, accurate, defensible, and understandable without additional verbal explanation.
  • Analyze patterns across cases to identify potential fraud rings, shared IP signals, behavioral clusters, and other coordinated activity, escalating meaningful findings proactively.
  • Partner with Member Support, Legal/Compliance, and Credit teams to investigate and respond to high-severity or coordinated fraud events.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of standard operating procedures, investigation playbooks, and fraud response processes as the threat landscape evolves.
Requirements
  • Bring experience investigating fraud cases from initial alert through resolution, particularly in areas such as card fraud, application fraud, identity fraud, or related financial crime investigations.
  • Have hands-on experience managing chargebacks and disputes across their full lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate excellent written documentation skills, with the ability to produce clear, complete investigation notes that can independently support regulatory or compliance review.
  • Be able to recognize patterns and connections across multiple cases, rather than approaching each investigation as an isolated event.
  • Have experience using Salesforce or an equivalent case management platform to document, manage, and track investigations.
  • Experience with fraud detection platforms such as SEON, Kount, or similar solutions is a plus.
  • Possess awareness of BSA/AML requirements, with experience supporting Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) filings considered an advantage.
  • A Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential is a plus but is not required.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work with speed and discipline in a fast-moving risk environment.
Conditions
  • Annual base salary ranging from $46,100 to $63,800 USD, with compensation determined by experience, expertise, and location.
  • Total compensation may include equity and/or variable pay or OTE, depending on the role and individual compensation package.
  • Competitive base compensation aligned with role scope and experience.
  • Hybrid-hub work model, with different working environments available depending on the role and individual needs, including fully remote opportunities.
  • Resources and workplace support designed to help employees succeed in their chosen working environment.
  • Opportunity to work within a dedicated Risk function and gain exposure to fraud investigations across corporate cards, applications, identity, and travel payments.
  • Direct collaboration with Risk, Support, Legal/Compliance, Credit, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Opportunity to contribute to fraud prevention strategy, operational playbooks, and process improvements as the fraud landscape evolves.
