Aspire Software (Valsoft Corporation) operates and manages wholly owned software companies across multiple verticals.
Responsibilities
Administer and improve AWS infrastructure across multiple accounts: EC2, RDS, S3, VPC/Transit Gateway, Route 53, Elastic Beanstalk, IAM/IAM Identity Center, CloudFormation, Systems Manager, CloudWatch, CloudTrail.
Plan and execute migrations between accounts, regions, and platforms with minimal customer disruption.
Administer SQL Server on RDS and EC2: backup/restore, upgrades, permissions, performance troubleshooting, migration.
Manage Windows Server and IIS hosting, including SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle, bindings, renewals.
Write and maintain PowerShell and AWS CLI automation.
Build and maintain automated deployment processes.
Maintain and extend CloudFormation templates.
Investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents end to end, produce documentation and runbooks.
Monitor cloud spend and implement savings opportunities.
Support security findings remediation, access reviews, SOC 2 evidence gathering.
Interface with hosted customers during deployments and pre-sales technical discussions.
Requirements
2–3+ years of hands-on AWS experience in production (console and CLI).
Working knowledge of EC2, VPC and networking, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and at least one IaC or deployment tool.
Solid Windows Server administration including IIS.
SQL Server administration: backups, restores, logins, permissions, basic performance troubleshooting.
Practical PowerShell scripting.
Comfort with certificate management, DNS, network troubleshooting.
Clear written communication.
Ability to work directly with customers professionally.
