The role sits within the Supply Chain Management Technology organization.
Responsibilities
Assume technical leadership within a tribe and own the most challenging tech decisions, including architecture, design, development, deployment, and operational excellence.
Support teams in architectural design and maintain architectural integrity within the tribe and beyond.
Orchestrate code generation by guiding AI coding agents, reviewing their implementations, and refining logic.
Solve software problems with visible risks, roadblocks, and constraints across ~70% greenfield development and 30% legacy systems.
Mentor more junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Requirements
Ideally 10+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years at staff/principal level with technical leadership.
Strong capability working with different stakeholders and addressing physical world problems with software solutions.
Full-stack proficiency (e.g., C#, Python, Golang, and modern frontend technologies).
Hands-on experience leveraging AI coding agents (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code) in production, including context engineering, workflow decomposition, and guardrails.
Experience with data engineering fundamentals: data modeling, governance, quality assurance, data processing and storage systems.
Expertise in designing and implementing modular systems, including synchronous/asynchronous communication.
Advocate for best engineering practices such as CI/CD, TDD, BDD, DDD, and Design Patterns.
Agile mindset with the ability to advocate for cross-functional collaboration.
Strong communication skills for interacting with front-end developers, designers, product managers, and global teams.
