Responsibilities

• Own backend architecture across two large-scale microservice platforms (30+ and 25+ services)
• Lead complex integrations — payment providers, card issuers, blockchain networks, third-party APIs
• Drive performance and scalability — identify bottlenecks, design caching strategies, optimize database queries
• Shape technical direction — make architectural decisions, evaluate trade-offs
• Build and improve AI-powered processes
• Contribute to back-office frontends (~20% of time) — React-based admin dashboards
• Own features end-to-end from planning to production monitoring
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and cross-functional teams
• Take part in a shared on-call rotation

Requirements

• Strong technical background with an architectural mindset
• Experience with TypeScript/Node.js in production
• Experience with microservice architecture and blockchain/payment integrations
