This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Digital Product Manager - Cybersecurity, Controls, and Compliance based in United States.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute product vision, strategy, roadmap, backlog, and success metrics for cybersecurity-focused products.
- Translate security, risk, compliance, and operational requirements into scalable product capabilities and prioritized initiatives.
- Lead discovery activities, gather requirements, define user stories, and drive product framing with technical and business stakeholders.
- Manage Agile delivery processes, backlog prioritization, iterative releases, and alignment between engineering and product teams.
- Develop solutions that improve cybersecurity operations, control effectiveness, governance, compliance readiness, and risk reduction.
- Support automation initiatives, monitoring capabilities, evidence collection, reporting, and security lifecycle management.
- Define KPIs, OKRs, and performance indicators to measure adoption, efficiency, security improvements, and business impact.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership and influence product strategy through insights and measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, architecture, compliance, and risk teams to ensure secure-by-design solutions.
- Mentor product peers and promote effective product management practices across teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing product strategy, roadmaps, backlogs, and enterprise-scale product delivery.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with 7+ years preferred for expert-level roles.
- Experience translating complex technical, security, or business challenges into scalable product solutions.
- Strong discovery, prioritization, stakeholder management, and Agile delivery experience.
- Demonstrated ability to define metrics, analyze performance, and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting insights, recommendations, and progress updates to leadership.
- Experience working in cybersecurity, technology risk, compliance, controls, DevSecOps, or secure engineering environments preferred.
- Familiarity with security operations workflows, observability concepts, telemetry, automation, and enterprise security tooling.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, Zero Trust, or similar standards.
- Experience with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or GCP, as well as AI/ML-enabled products or enterprise data platforms.
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows, governance processes, security automation, and modern technology architectures.
- Experience coaching teams, mentoring colleagues, and driving product management best practices.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.
