Responsibilities
- Design and refine professional presentation materials, with a strong focus on PowerPoint, ensuring polished, visually compelling, and consistent results.
- Support ongoing event-related design projects taking place at various points throughout the year.
- Apply strong visual design principles, attention to detail, and brand consistency across presentation deliverables.
- Collaborate remotely with project stakeholders and adapt to different time zones and working environments as required.
- Support event production activities where presentation design and technical expertise are required.
- Prepare, review, and finalize presentation files to ensure accuracy, functionality, and professional quality.
- Manage multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of execution.
- Remain flexible regarding project schedules, remote collaboration, and potential international travel.
Requirements
- Demonstrated professional experience in presentation design, graphic design, or a closely related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing presentation and visual design work; PowerPoint examples are strongly preferred.
- Advanced or highly proficient knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and strong general technical proficiency.
- Excellent eye for design, composition, typography, and visual consistency.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, accurate deliverables.
- Comfortable working independently in a freelance and remote environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines across multiple projects.
- Comfortable working remotely across different time zones when required.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally for project-related events.
- Must hold a valid Canadian or U.S. passport due to the travel requirements of the project.
- Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders in a professional event environment.
Conditions
- Freelance compensation of $25–$50 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
