This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SAP PM Functional Consultant based in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and design SAP system solutions aligned with business goals and operational requirements.
- Assess existing business models, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and define future-state processes.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements, validate business needs, and establish alignment on proposed solutions.
- Develop process maps, functional documentation, and detailed descriptions of current-state and future-state workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business teams and technical specialists to support seamless system integration.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, evaluate business performance, and provide insights that support informed decision-making.
- Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to end users to improve system adoption and operational effectiveness.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in SAP Plant Maintenance, contributing functional expertise and recommendations to key project decisions.
- Support and coordinate team activities, encouraging collaboration and ensuring effective communication across project stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance business processes, system functionality, and maintenance operations.
Requirements
- At least seven years of professional experience as an SAP Functional Consultant.
- Advanced expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM).
- Experience working as a Business Analyst within SAP environments.
- Strong understanding of business process analysis, process design, requirements gathering, and system integration.
- Ability to assess current processes, define future-state workflows, and develop clear functional documentation.
- Experience facilitating workshops, collaborating with stakeholders, and aligning business and technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, equivalent to B2–C1.
- Excellent communication, empathy, commitment, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple teams in a collaborative, project-oriented environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
- Familiarity with SAP Materials Management (MM).
