Our partner is looking for a EDS Migration Developer based in India. This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance websites and reusable components using Adobe Experience Manager Edge Delivery Services.
- Build and customize EDS blocks and components based on business, content, and design requirements.
- Work with EDS project boilerplates and follow established development structures, patterns, and best practices.
- Implement solutions using the EDS content pipeline and content-driven development approach.
- Support website migration initiatives, helping transition existing digital experiences to Edge Delivery Services.
- Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performing web experiences using semantic HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools and approaches to accelerate implementation, improve productivity, and enhance development workflows.
- Optimize websites against Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse scores, performance, scalability, and overall user experience.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing and resolve frontend compatibility and UI issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve EDS and frontend development issues throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, architects, content teams, and fellow developers to translate requirements and designs into high-quality digital experiences.
- Work with design systems, component libraries, and design handoff tools where applicable.
- Follow established coding standards, Git-based development practices, build processes, and CI/CD workflows.
- Contribute to Agile development practices and support continuous improvements across migration and implementation projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend or web development.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager Edge Delivery Services is strongly preferred.
- Experience developing EDS blocks and components and familiarity with EDS project boilerplates and content pipelines.
- Strong proficiency in semantic HTML5, CSS3, and vanilla JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first web development.
- Experience with CSS Flexbox, Grid, animations, and modern CSS techniques.
- Understanding of Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, web performance optimization, and frontend scalability.
- Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of WCAG and modern web accessibility standards.
- Experience with Git, build tools, and CI/CD workflows.
- Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and design handoff tools.
- Experience with AI-assisted development or AI-based implementation approaches is an advantage.
- Previous experience with Adobe Experience Manager and large-scale website migration programs is highly desirable.
- Understanding of modern web development practices and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience working in Agile development environments is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex frontend and migration challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with designers, architects, content teams, and developers.
- Frontend developers without direct EDS experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, accessibility, and performance expertise.
