About the company
- Coinbase is a remote-first company on a mission to increase economic freedom.
- Expect quarterly in-person working sessions called "surges."
Responsibilities
- Own the technical strategy for mobile QA infrastructure across the native rewrite.
- Build and scale automated test systems for recurring regression testing.
- Lead the QA readiness workstream for the phased rollout.
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering leadership, product, and design to define SLOs and quality dashboards.
- Shape the QA onboarding playbook and mentor L3-L5 engineers on test architecture, native debugging, and quality standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in mobile test infrastructure.
- Track record of defining and delivering test infrastructure strategy.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and Kotlin.
- Experience operating QA processes during large-scale migrations or platform transitions.
- Demonstrated ability to build alignment across cross-team and cross-functional partners.
- Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight.
Conditions
- Annual base salary range: $218,025 — $286,500 USD (excluding equity and bonus).
- Total compensation may include equity and bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).
- Candidates may submit a maximum of 3 applications within a 6-month period.
