Join a data-driven engineering team responsible for building and maintaining the enterprise data infrastructure that powers critical business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with analytics teams and business leaders to understand business objectives and data requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data warehouse infrastructure, including data models and transformation pipelines
- Build and optimize data models supporting operational reporting, strategic decision-making, performance KPIs, and employee commission calculations
- Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of a high-performing Snowflake data warehouse serving thousands of users
- Establish and apply data engineering best practices for data accuracy, consistency, availability, and reliability
- Develop efficient, scalable SQL transformations aligned with cloud data warehouse design principles
- Evaluate existing data architecture and deployment practices to improve performance, efficiency, and resilience
- Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to prioritize high-impact initiatives
- Apply version control, code reviews, and CI/CD practices
- Contribute to the continuous evolution of data infrastructure
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, another technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of experience in data modeling and data warehouse development using dbt, SSIS, Matillion, or similar technologies
- Expert-level SQL skills and strong understanding of cloud data warehouse design principles
- At least 2 years of professional experience with Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Azure Data Factory, or Google BigQuery; Snowflake preferred
- At least 2 years of experience with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD environments
- Ability to communicate effectively with business leaders, analytics professionals, and engineers
- Sound technical judgment and business acumen
- Comfort evaluating trade-offs and prioritizing solutions based on business impact, scalability, and reliability
Conditions
- Base salary: $131,400–$157,300 per year, depending on location, experience, and performance
