Production Associate

About the company

• HelloFresh is hiring a Production Associate for its Mississauga, Ontario facility.

Responsibilities

• Work in Kitchen, Plating, Pick and Pack, or Shipping/Receiving as assigned.
• Ensure product quality meets company standards.
• Weigh and portion products accurately.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas; categorize and dispose/recycle waste.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
• Follow OH&S acts and regulations and use personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience standing for prolonged periods, bending, twisting, walking.
• English communication (verbal and written).
• Able to work in a refrigerated environment (0°C to 4°C).
• Familiar with MS Office and/or Google Apps.
• Flexibility for overtime, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• 6 months to 1 year in a food production facility is an asset.
• Level 1 First Aid is an asset.

Conditions

• Pay range: $18.50 CAD/hr.
• Shift premiums: $1.50/hr for 4:00pm–12:00am, $2.00/hr for 12:00am–5:00am.
