Responsibilities
- Serve as internal functional lead for Workday Financials, driving configuration decisions and validating designs
- Own the design and configuration of Chart of Accounts, Worktags, dimensional hierarchies, and Accounting Books
- Develop and maintain Prism/Accounting Center solutions, including integration with external data sources like BigQuery and Pigment
- Gather business requirements from Finance, Accounting, and FP&A stakeholders and build executive reporting, dashboards, and analytics
- Participate in implementation workshops, translate business needs into buildable designs and testable acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with Integrations, Security, and Financials configuration teams
- Drive ongoing expansion and adoption of the Workday platform
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in finance systems, ERP implementation, or business systems analysis, with at least 5 years of hands-on Workday Financials
- Deep expertise in Workday Financial Data Model (FDM), Chart of Accounts design, Worktags, dimensional hierarchies, and Accounting Books
- Strong experience with Workday Prism Analytics: data modeling, source integration, calculated fields, report development
- Experience with full ERP implementation lifecycles
- Understanding of financial accounting processes: General Ledger, multi-entity consolidation, intercompany accounting, management reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
