Our partner is looking for a Senior Python React Developer based in Canada. This is a long-term opportunity for a senior full-stack engineer working on enterprise-grade applications in a modern technology environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Python and React.js.
- Build scalable, secure, and maintainable REST APIs and backend services using frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Develop modern, responsive, and reusable front-end applications with React.js and established development best practices.
- Design and implement microservices-based architectures and integrations that support scalability and reliability.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, selecting appropriate data models and optimizing application performance.
- Contribute to technical architecture and design decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business requirements.
- Deploy and operate applications using cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, along with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and contribute to reliable, automated software delivery practices.
- Identify and resolve complex technical and performance issues through systematic analysis and continuous optimization.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers, promoting strong engineering practices and knowledge sharing.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience, with strong expertise in full-stack application development.
- Advanced experience with Python and backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Strong professional experience with React.js and modern front-end development practices.
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing scalable REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise applications.
- Solid knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases and experience applying them effectively in production systems.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies and collaborative engineering practices.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, security, reliability, and application performance.
- Ability to lead technical design discussions and make sound architectural decisions.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring developers and providing technical leadership within engineering teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid or remote environment.
