Our partner is looking for a Sr. Staff Electrical Engineer - BlueSky based in the United States. This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior technical leadership in the design and development of electrical systems supporting fixed-wing aircraft products.
- Lead and contribute to multiple product development cycles spanning electrical engineering, logic, mechanical engineering, and software disciplines.
- Design and help define high-performance computing, sensing, communication, and power architectures for advanced aerospace applications.
- Drive electrical engineering activities from early concepts and architecture through detailed design, integration, validation, and product delivery.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve complex technical challenges and ensure system-level requirements are met.
- Take extreme ownership of technical outcomes, proactively identifying risks, removing obstacles, and driving projects toward successful completion.
- Establish and maintain high standards for electrical design quality, system reliability, performance, and manufacturability.
- Identify opportunities to improve hardware development processes, engineering efficiency, product quality, and aircraft reliability.
- Propose and implement innovative technical solutions that improve development outcomes and address complex hardware challenges.
- Help navigate development tradeoffs and ensure high-quality solutions are delivered within project timelines and mission requirements.
- Serve as a trusted technical resource and teammate, contributing expertise and maintaining strong engineering standards across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of industry experience as an Electrical Engineer.
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and the ability to apply them to complex hardware and aerospace systems.
- Demonstrated experience contributing to and leading multiple product design cycles involving Electrical Engineering, Logic, Mechanical Engineering, and Software teams.
- Proven track record of successfully shipping products, navigating development challenges, overcoming obstacles, and delivering high-quality solutions on schedule.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to make sound technical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated initiative in identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and system reliability.
- Exceptional ownership and accountability, with a consistent focus on delivering outstanding technical and project outcomes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Conditions
- $230,000–$350,000 annual salary, with compensation determined by factors including skills, experience, certifications, and work location.
