Responsibilities
- Own the overall strategy and execution for editorial content, branded content, social media, creator and influencer marketing, community programs, and podcasts.
- Build a scalable creator and affiliate marketing program from the ground up, including recruitment, program mechanics, partnerships, content frameworks, and performance measurement.
- Establish a clear content point of view, operating model, calendar, and growth plan that connects channels while preserving the unique strengths of each format.
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team spanning social, community, creators, editorial content, branded content, and podcast production.
- Set the strategic direction for social-native video, particularly short-form formats, while partnering with brand and creative teams on larger-scale video initiatives.
- Develop frameworks for measuring content effectiveness, setting channel-specific KPIs, evaluating funnel impact, and continuously testing and improving performance.
- Turn existing customer enthusiasm and community participation into structured programs that encourage authentic content creation, advocacy, and engagement.
- Establish standards and processes that allow editorial and sponsored content to coexist while maintaining audience trust, transparency, and appropriate disclosure.
- Partner with integrated marketing teams on major go-to-market initiatives and align channel content with broader campaign creative and brand strategy.
- Develop tentpole moments and content calendars while identifying opportunities to respond quickly to relevant cultural moments where the brand can authentically participate.
- Expand the use of paid amplification to scale high-performing organic content and move effective creative further up the marketing funnel across channels such as YouTube and addressable television.
- Establish showrooms and associated production capabilities as hubs for brand storytelling and user-generated content.
- Use AI and emerging technologies to accelerate ideation, production, analysis, experimentation, and team workflows while maintaining strong creative judgment.
Requirements
- Proven senior-level leadership experience across content, social, creator/influencer marketing, community, or integrated editorial functions.
- Demonstrated experience building a creator, influencer, or affiliate marketing program from near-zero, including recruitment strategies, program mechanics, relationships, content frameworks, and scalable processes.
- Deep understanding of social-native video as a distinct creative discipline, with experience leading short-form platforms such as TikTok alongside longer-form or brand-level video.
- Experience leading editorial and commercial content within the same organization, with a strong understanding of how to maintain editorial credibility while developing effective sponsored content.
- Strong understanding of community-led marketing and the ability to turn an engaged customer base into an authentic content and advocacy engine.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary, multi-format content teams spanning written, video, audio, social, and creator-led content.
- Demonstrated ability to connect organic social content with paid media and use content strategically across different stages of the customer funnel.
- Strong analytical and outcome-oriented mindset, with experience defining KPIs, establishing measurement frameworks, evaluating performance, and translating insights into action.
- Proven ability to develop scalable operating models, improve cross-functional collaboration, and streamline creative production.
- Excellent understanding of content strategy, audience development, brand storytelling, and cultural trends.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and collaborate across marketing and creative functions.
- Experience using AI tools as part of everyday marketing and content workflows, with a practical understanding of how AI can improve speed, quality, experimentation, and productivity.
- Builder mentality with the ability to operate strategically while remaining close enough to execution to guide quality and make informed decisions in a fast-moving environment.

- $212,712–$283,694 starting salary range, based on location, experience, and qualifications.
