Responsibilities
- Identify appropriate modeling techniques to answer critical business questions
- Infer well-substantiated business insights to support client decision making
- Use clients' in-house data and external data sources
- Apply data management and visualization techniques
- Use advanced statistical and machine learning techniques: classification, prediction, recommendation, clustering, forecasting, optimization
- Build relationships with external clients and internal peers
- Contribute to presentations of modeling results and project proposals
- Shape solutions to client problems using industry knowledge
Requirements
- Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Engineering, Operational Research, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
- Previous working or research experience (PhD/publications/awards/project credentials) preferably in commercial/industrial context
- Hands-on development with Python or related statistical software
- Experience building and deploying ML models (supervised & unsupervised, time series) and mathematical programming algorithms
- Good understanding of machine learning, predictive modeling, optimization algorithms
- Good understanding of data modeling and evaluation
- Experience designing, building, testing, validating customized statistical models
- Exposure to scalable big data advanced analytics software is a plus
- Strong communication, presentation, client service, technical writing skills in English
- Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking skills
- Ability to work under tight timelines and parallel deliveries
- Ability/flexibility to travel and work abroad
