Responsibilities
- Own the accounting and month-end close for supply chain and inventory valuation, standard cost and absorption, fixed assets and capital project accounting (CIP), GRIR management, freight and logistics, and procure-to-pay (P2P)
- Define and drive a scalable operational accounting framework, including systems, workflows, and organizational design
- Design and execute a robust, SOX-compliant control environment across operational and technical accounting processes
- Evaluate, document, and implement accounting treatment for complex transactions
- Own the accounting design for supply chain and fixed asset systems and integrations, including ERP implementations (e.g., NetSuite to SAP or Oracle)
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, FP&A, IT, Tax, Treasury, and Senior Leadership
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and Internal Audit
- Hire, mentor, and grow a high-performing global team
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including senior leadership roles
- Strong command of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
- Deep technical background in inventory valuation, cost accounting, fixed assets/PP&E, CIP, and procure-to-pay
- Hands-on experience leading an ERP implementation, migration, or major upgrade (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics)
- Proven team builder and player-coach
- Strong executive presence and stakeholder management
- Preferred: capital-intensive industry experience, public company or IPO readiness, CPA and/or Big 4 background
