This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Snr. Commissions Analyst based in United States.
Responsibilities
- Calculate monthly accrued commissions and commissions paid while meeting established month-end close deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Maintain the commission system by updating employee information, commission plan changes, and other relevant data on an ongoing basis.
- Develop, configure, and test new commission plans within the commission system to support evolving business requirements.
- Partner with commission system personnel to investigate and troubleshoot technical or operational issues and help implement effective solutions.
- Respond accurately and professionally to employee questions and concerns related to commissions, incentives, and payments.
- Review commission payment reports for completeness, accuracy, and consistency before payouts are finalized.
- Ensure commission payments are processed accurately and on time while identifying and resolving discrepancies when necessary.
- Prepare commission expense reports, presentations, analyses, and recommendations for sales and finance management as required.
- Support ongoing system improvements by identifying and responding to new commission-related system requirements and changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in commissions or payroll, or a combination of payroll and HR experience.
- Experience with Xactly Incent Commission System is preferred, while SQL training and familiarity with general database functions are considered a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, along with broader MS Office experience.
- Familiarity with Gmail and Google Docs.
- Superior analytical, mathematical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with strong customer service and professional etiquette.
- Exceptional time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to consistently meet deadlines and manage detailed work.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team while also working independently with minimal supervision.
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive personal, compensation, or legal matters.
Conditions
- Base salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000, depending on the alignment of the candidate’s skills and experience with the role.
