Responsibilities
- Contribute to engineer-driven product initiatives. You will be involved in the implementation and technical planning of features, ensuring they are shipped effectively and scalable.
- Support the development of the card product across our product teams. This includes working on key user flows like card ordering, transacting, 3DS authentication, and dispute resolution alongside other engineers.
- Write clean, maintainable code on your platform, advocate for mobile best practices, and collaborate with the wider globally distributed tribe to ensure a seamless mobile experience.
- Influence one of Wise’s most recognisable and high-traffic products.
- Drive product evolution by actively contributing to strategic direction and technical roadmaps, moving beyond mere execution to shape the future of our offerings.
- Work in a healthy environment built on transparency, ownership, and trust, alongside a very talented group of frontend, backend, and product peers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing Android applications
- Solid experience building, shipping, and maintaining high-performing apps on Android.
- Experience working with modern Android UI development (Jetpack Compose).
- A passion for customer experience. You look for ways to fix customer pain-points and use data to support your technical decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical peers.
- A collaborative mindset, thriving in a globally distributed squad and tribe environment, working as a strong team player who contributes to the team’s collective success.
Conditions
- Salary Range: 9,350 - 12,400 SGD base per month + RSUs
- Full-time
